Remember, color is color, but morph affects a dragons spikes, scales, and overall appearance.

                                                              COLORS

                   RED

Red are some of the most popular right now. They can vary from stop sign red to dark maroon. These can also have blue barring and patterns or be nearly pattern less.

                  ORANGE

These are bright and bold, almost red, and often with dark red patterns or blue barring.

                                 YELLOW/CITRUS

These dragons are usually yellow from being hypomelanistic causing varying degrees of pastel to lemon yellow. Often these dragons have blue patterns or red patterns resulting in a more, "citrus" look.

             WHITE/NEAR WHITE

These dragons are fairly rare and often mistaken for albino. The morphs Zero,  Witblits and Wero are the newer morphs resulting in varying degrees of white.

      BROWN/GREY

These are the most common dragons and resemble native Australian lizards. Although sometimes these have red or orange spots, or stripes,  resulting in some beautiful, inexpensive dragons.

                                                 BLACK

These rare dragons have extremely dark patterns of dark grey or brown.

                                                             MORPHS

MOST COMMON KNOWN MORPHS ARE: Classic/standard, Translucent,  Hypomelanistic, Dunner, Silk-back, Leather-back, Witblits, Zero, Wero, Genetic Stripe, and Paradox

       CLASSIC/STANDARD

A classic will have a back covered in spikes, often be brownish grey, and have dark nails. These most closely resemble the wild dragons of Australia.

                         LEATHER-BACK

A breeder favorite. There are 3 different leather-back genetic types...Co dominant, dominant, and recessive but without a biology lesson we will leave it at that. Leather-backs have a smooth back, with only spikes along the sides of the body and head. Leather-backs also appear more vividly colored, A leather-back is a co-dominant gene meaning a single copy of the gene will result in the mutation, but a double copy will result in a much stronger mutation(silk-back).

                HYPOMELANISTIC

Hypo simply means less melanin, the pigment that causes browns and blacks(and sometimes reds). It often results in less color or a pastel. Of course these can line bred with some vivid colors usually lacking a lot of dark. These dragons will also have clear nails with no dark(melanin)stripe.

                TRANSLUCENT

Trans morphs have see trough spikes and scales instead of the spike or scale  being a color itself. Babies are almost see through underneath resulting in a blueish belly, these dragons also have completely dark eyes often with blue eyelids. These dragons tend to have an overall muted color scheme

                                                DUNNER

These dragons have no set pattern down the back often resulting in a broken or spotted look. They also have disorganized scales on their stomach going in multiple directions instead of a normal all running downward.

                                Silkback

Silkies are completely spike-less dragons as a result from two complete leather-back genes.

                                               WITBLITS

A newer morph resulting in a pattern-less having very muted colors making them nearly white or extremely light.

                                                  ZERO

Almost completely pattern-less and void of color, these dragons are nearly white.

                                                   WERO

A combination of Witblits and Zero, these are completely pattern-less and a snow white

                                          PARADOX

A combination of multiple mutations like trans, hypo, witblits, and zero. This often results in translucent scales all over with splotches of color looking like paint spots.

                                      GENETIC STRIPE

These dragons have very distinct stripes running down their back.
